Call to Worship
Let us offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God, through Jesus Christ our risen Lord.
Alleluia! Thanks be to God!
Prayer of the Day
Almighty God, in Christ you have shown us the way, revealed to us your truth, and offered to us everlasting life. Keep our eyes upon him, that we may see your path more clearly, know your truth more fully, and receive your life more abundantly; through Christ who dwells with you and the Holy Spirit in eternal glory. Amen.
Hymn of Praise #401 “Gather Us In” Glory to God Hymnal
Invitation to Healing
Trusting in God’s love through Jesus Christ, let us humbly admit need for healing and seek wholeness together
Prayer Seeking Wholeness
Holy God, in baptism you claim us as beloved children and set us apart as witnesses to your love. At times we forget we bear the mark of your grace and act as if you have no claim on our lives. You call us to the risky work of justice and peace, but we default to what is comfortable and safe. You call us to ministries of generosity and compassion, but we make little room in our busy lives for gestures of mercy beyond moments of spontaneous kindness. Wash us again with your grace and transform us by your Word, that we might proclaim your good news in word and deed. Specifically in my own life, … All join in silent personal prayer
Easter Petition #701 “Sanctuary” 3x ~ Pastor Scott; Glory to God Hymnal

Questions for Reflection
Is the “dwelling place” (John 14:1–14) of which Jesus speaks a place for us after we die, or does it include our life in the present? What does Jesus mean when he says that his disciples “will do greater works”? What does it mean to pray “in Jesus’ name”?
Household Prayer: Morning
Lord Jesus, as I serve you this day, let not my heart be troubled. Help me to believe with conviction that you are with me, and I am in you, and you are in God. Amen.
Household Prayer: Evening
Faithful God, my rock and my fortress, into your hands I commit my spirit. As darkness falls, let your face shine upon your servant, and keep me in your steadfast love. Amen.

TLC has already matched our seed money, and other donations have also come in. If you or if you know of any of your neighbors who are struggling with food security during these times of unemployment, social distancing, or scarcity due to COVID-19, please let Bev know when you purchase groceries at the store. She will know how you can access the assistance funds. We are blessed and thankful to be able to help.
